- Monday - Friday, Day Shift
Pay: $35.00 - $43.00 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support students in a school setting, providing one-on-one care for students with specific medical needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a child to ensure their health and safety during school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for students with Seizure Disorders (including Diastat administration), Tracheostomy, and G-tube management.
- Assist with Type 1 Diabetic Management, including Insulin Injections and Pumps.
- Administer medications and treatments as per individual care plans.
- Work with school staff to create and implement individualized health plans.
- Monitor and document student health status and progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the student throughout the school day.
Licenses & Experience Required:
- Current Virginia RN License and BLS Certification.
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care is a plus.
