We are looking for Test Lead to join our growing team in the United States.

Location: Remote (US) - with some travel

Must Haves:
1. Network testing experience
2. Experience leading a team, put together test strategy
3. Utilities testing (preferably Exelon) exp

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Test Strategy & Planning:
Develop and own the end-to-end test strategy for the DER network architecture.
Define test plans, test cases, and validation criteria aligned with project requirements and standards (IEEE 2030.5, IEEE 1547, OpenADR, etc.).

Execution & Oversight:
Lead the execution of functional, integration, regression, performance, and security tests.
Coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and vendors to ensure system-wide compatibility.

Automation & Tooling:
Implement or manage automated test frameworks and tools for continuous testing.
Ensure tests are scalable and repeatable across environments.

Defect Management:
Log, track, and triage defects using appropriate tools
Collaborate with development and architecture teams for root cause analysis and resolution.

Reporting & Documentation:
Provide clear test progress reports, KPIs, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive test documentation and traceability matrices.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in QA or Smart Grid technologies are a plus.
Experience:
5+ years in software/hardware/system testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Experience with DER integration, grid-edge systems, or utility network architectures.

Technical Skills:
Familiarity with DERMS, SCADA, and utility communication protocols (e.g., DNP3, Modbus, IEEE 2030.5, IEC 61850).
Understanding of cybersecurity requirements and testing practices (NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443).
Experience with test tools like Selenium, Postman, TestRail, Jenkins, or custom test benches.

Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to Have:
Experience with grid simulation tools (e.g., Opal-RT, PSCAD, or PSSE).
Familiarity with FERC/NERC regulatory frameworks and interconnection standards.
Exposure to Agile/SAFe environments.
