Reports to: VDC Project Manager, VDC Manager, HVAC Project Manager, MEP Manager or Project Executive
Position Description:
Manage, evaluate, and assess model-based information from design team, trade subcontractors, and others necessary to construct project as specified by contract documents using leading-edge digital technology.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from accredited and credentialed degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, or Building Construction and 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
Able to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Good leadership skills, able to manage competing demands while collaborating with others
Able to supervise and prioritize responsibilities for self and others
Proficient in computer applications, MS Office and leading-edge technologies such as lean and BIM based computer applications such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore BIM, Navisworks Manage, Revizto, Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCad, Autodesk Revit, Trimble Connect and Trimble SketchUp
Physical Demands:
Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to occasionally climb permanent and temporary stairs, climb ladders, negotiate work areas under construction, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally requires passenger use of construction personnel hoists. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job regularly requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk, hear and stand.
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works on-site at the construction worksite where the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
The noise in this work environment is usually moderate to very loud.

- Resolve issues related to plans and specifications, specifically as it relates to organization, use, management, and BIM model updating, by interacting with architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors, other Turner job staff and owner's representatives.
- Describe, Relay and track issues requiring input from the design team and incorporate into RFI's or other Project documentation.
- Manage and Facilitate Design Coordination Meetings.
- Manage coordination models and model-based submittals and shop drawings. Assess conformance to contract specifications and resolve any conflicts in interpretation.
- Manage and Set up Clash Detection Process
- Manage Model alignment and Oversee and make decisions related to BIM model information.
- Manage and integrate reality capture and other information received from on-site construction activities.
- Develop reports (utilizing Power BI, etc...) including reports/assessments on coordination meeting records, completion status, constraint logs, etc.
- Schedule and manage subcontractor 3D virtual trade coordination meetings, preconstruction meetings and submittal review meetings.
- Oversee BIM related closeout process. Prepare final records such as as-built models, which may include connections to project data including operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and as-built documentation. Produce turnover model file with associated documents for Owner, if required for project.
- Supervise VDC Coordinators and VDC Interns and provide input on performance appraisals.
- Prepare scope of work documents for trades producing and using BIM models.
- Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
- Salary Range: $70k - $95k
