Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Master's degree in educational administration
- Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
- Montessori Administrator/Instructor Credentials - AMS preferred
- Certified Texas Teach Teacher Evaluation and Support System (TTESS) appraiser
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Working knowledge of Montessori curriculum and instruction
- Knowledge of Montessori instructional and leadership philosophy
- Ability to support Montessori philosophy of the prepared environment school wide
- Ability to articulate Montessori's guiding principles to all stakeholders
- Ability to evaluate the Montessori instructional program and teaching effectiveness
- Ability to manage budget and personnel
- Ability to coordinate campus functions
- Ability to implement policy and procedures
- Ability to interpret data
- Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct instruction and/or attend meetings and professional development, and make and receive phone calls in a virtual or remote workplace environment
Experience:
- Three years experience as a classroom teacher
- Five years experience in instructional leadership roles
- Three years of leading a Montessori school, preferred
Salary:
Starting Salary Range: $87,432- $123,247 (2024/2025 Compensation Plan)
- Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience
- Salary will be adjusted to the start date
