Information specific to this position: This position will be 50% Assistant Principal and 30% Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) beginning in the 2025-26 school year. Polaris is a K-12 public school option within Poudre School District that serves between 400 plus students each year. The school was founded in 2007 using the Expeditionary Learning model and continues to offer authentic learning Page 2 of 2 experiences, both on and off campus, through investigations of compelling topics over an extended period of time. This position is for the 2025-26 school year, start date to be determined and will be announced when the 2025-26 calendars have been approved.

Pay Range:

Assistant Principal: $94,413-$130,287 on a 213 day per year calendar, based on qualifications and experience* (based on a 100% assignment starting on the date the specific calendar(s) for this position begin).

TOSA: Pay for this position is determined by the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Range for position is $54,329 - $81,728 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting on the date the specific calendar(s) for this position begin).

*These pay rates are based on the 2024-25 school year rates and will be updated when approved during the negotiations process around May 2025 for the 2025-26 school year*

This is a probationary position. However, PSD employees currently under a licensed contract may apply for this position and if selected, will retain contract status.

Must have a valid Colorado Educator's License with appropriate endorsement.

Percentage: 80% total (50% Assistant Principal, 30% TOSA)

Work calendar days: Assistant Principal - 213; TOSA - 188

Duration of position: Ongoing
