Description:
The successful candidate supervises instruction and curriculum development; and functions as building manager, instructional leader, school climate leader, staff developer, and school/community relations specialist. The Principal should have leadership experience in Virginia Department of Education processes such as assessment, data collection, testing, and accountability.
The Principal must have direct leadership experience as a successful School Administrator. The Principal must be able to foster a team effort geared towards facilitating school academic success. The successful applicant must hold the Administration and Supervision PK-12 endorsement on a Virginia teaching license.
