2992N Engineering and Operations Manager

Quebec site of worldwide technical lab supply OEM company is looking for a French English bilingual Technical and Operations Manager to lead the growth of their systems design and manufacturing business unit. You will also be managing their shipping, receiving, inventory, and purchasing operations, ensuring improvement and raising client satisfaction and revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help management set strategy/plan.
• Manage supply chain and logistics (shipping, receiving, inventory, purchasing).
• Manage engineering - manage design, project management, designers, drafters, project managers, and able to stamp drawings.
• Manage technical trades.
• Handle Systems Department HR and financial resources.
• Ensure that company products meet quality requirements and sales growth trajectory.
• Coaching and employee development.
• Interact with company locations worldwide, ensuring the expansion of their systems manufacturing department..

REQUIREMENTS:

• B.Sc. Engineering, and certified member of OIQ Ordre des Ingnieurs du Qubec OR P. Eng. (other province).
• Bilingual - French and English essential.
• 6 to 8 years as senior operations manager / senior project manager in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Background managing technical trades, teams of engineers, and supply chain specialists.
• MS Office, analyzing data via MS Excel.
• Quality programs - 5S, Kaizen, LEAN.
• Able to do 25% travel across Canada.
