Job Summary

This position will oversee 340B operations and ensure compliance while managing various vendor relationships. A deep understanding of the 340B program is essential, as this role supports the organization during internal audits, as well as HRSA/OPA, manufacturer, and third-party audits. The Senior Analyst will conduct thorough reviews of systems and reports, analyzing data to identify deficiencies in controls and optimize adherence to 340B regulations, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions
  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Provides oversight of the hospital 340B program through internal audits to review compliance with the 340B drug program.
  • Oversees training, work assignments, and deliverable reviews for 340B Finance & Compensation Analyst(s).
  • Performs business process walkthroughs, inquiries, claims, and documentation reviews to assess the existence of procedures and internal controls for 340B program compliance.
  • Reviews 340B audit findings and recommends or implements changes while maintaining knowledge of 340B Policies & Procedures.
  • Audits contract pharmacy claims for all registered contract pharmacies and provides reports to the 340B oversight team.
  • Reviews the split billing software system and performs transaction reviews to ensure accurate reflection of 340B eligible dispensations.
  • Develops working relationships with other Jefferson departments and personnel involved in the 340B program.
  • Assists outpatient pharmacy managers with compliance and integrity of the 340B program concerning billing and segregated inventory management.
  • Maintains working relationships with vendor partners, including pharmacies, Third Party Administrators, and external auditors.
  • Prepares reports on audit findings regularly and communicates results to the 340B oversight team, tracking follow-up actions for records.
  • Collaborates with 340B oversight and pharmacy leadership on audit results and recommends changes to enhance 340B integrity and compliance.


Qualifications

Education:

Associate Degree in related field. Bachelor's degree preferred

OR

Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years broad pharmacy financial operations or financial analytics experience. Plus Minimum of one (1) year auditing experience

Experience with pharmacy systems, 340B operations and auditing, or in-depth knowledge of financial concepts and analytics required.

340B University training required (can be completed upon hire); Apexus Certification preferred.
