3932 IT Specialist with Security Clearance

GENERAL DUTIES: * The candidate will provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues across the organization. * The candidate will install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, software applications, and peripheral devices. * The candidate will assist in network troubleshooting and support for LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. * The candidate will assist with developing, testing, and deploying PowerShell scripts through InTune configuration profiles. * The candidate will manage user accounts and access permissions in various systems. * The candidate will maintain system security by implementing updates, patches, and security protocols. * The candidate will collaborate with other staff on technology projects and initiatives. * The candidate will participate in documentation creation and the maintenance of IT support processes. * The candidate will provide support for audiovisual equipment and video conferencing systems. * The candidate will respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or in person in a timely and efficient manner. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * The candidate must have 1 to 5 years of experience in IT support or a related field. * The candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. * The candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills. * The candidate must have a fundamental understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. * The candidate must have a fundamental understanding of cloud technologies and platforms. * The candidate must have a fundamental understanding of desktop support, including Windows and Mac operating systems. * The candidate must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently. * The candidate must be motivated to learn about a variety of IT platforms/systems. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * The ideal candidate has a Security+ Certification or Network+ Certification. * The ideal candidate has a Cloud certification from a recognized provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). * The ideal candidate has experience with ITIL practices and methodology. * The ideal candidate has familiarity with Azure Active Directory and domain management.
