Job Summary: This is a 1.0 FTE non-continuing leave replacement contract position for a Middle School History Teacher beginning October 21, 2024 through April 4, 2025. Under the direction of the Principal, responsible for helping students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible citizens. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.
Salary Range: $70,006 - $138,991 (anticipated increase for the 2024-2025 school year) per the Snohomish Education Association Total Compensation Salary Schedule. Placement on the salary schedule is determined by official documentation verifying educational level and work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than a full-year and/or part-time employees.
Contract: 180-days
Endorsement Required: History/Elementary Education
Special Duties/Responsibilities: Plan units and lessons for 7th grade Washington State History. Work with colleagues in the department to determine units, assessments, grading, managing classroom, communication with families, grading, etc.

- Valid State of Washington teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
- Possess and maintain a valid First Aid and CPR certification for duration of employment with the District when required for position by Board Policy.
