The main responsibility of the RANCOMM Project Manager is to manage a remote commissioning and integration team of engineers to deploy Samsung RAN products in customer's network. The RANCOMM project manager will work both internally and externally with various teams to plan the deployment activities and execute as per the schedule. Other responsibilities will include resource planning, task assignment, tracking deliverables, and risk management. Also managing project LOEs, Statement of works, migration plans and unique deployment strategies for various Samsung customers.. The RANCOMM Project Manager will also schedule and manage meetings with appropriate departments, Points of Contact, customers and upper management.

The ideal candidate will manage processes and best practices to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of the commissioning team. Also have excellent leadership and experience in managing staff to produce results within timelines and schedule. The goal of the RANCOMM Project Manager is to ensure all programs deliver the desirable outcome to the organization. Additional job skills, functions and requirements include
Deployment experience is a must.
Be available on-call for any escalations.
Analytical Skills include working with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching
Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects
Work with upper management to determine suitable strategies and objectives
Develop and govern deadlines, timelines, budgets and other activities
Coordinate cross-project activities
Ability to lead a group of project managers and other team members
Experience with and capabilities in applying change, risk and resource management
Assess and provide program performance reporting to Upper management/Executive management
Ability to analyze and make decisions with the data that affect the project on a regular basis
Assess and report on program performance and aim to maximize ROI
Efficiently resolve projects' higher scope issues
Excellent communication skills required in the performance of presenting findings, or translating data into an understandable document. Ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
Critical Thinking skills are required to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on findings
Excellent Time Management skills and the ability to multi-task competing priorities
Must have precise attention to detail to ensure the analysis is vigilant and accurate to come to correct conclusions
Preparing project P&L and ensure goals and revenue are maximized based on schedule
Updating internal and customer databases and tools
Creating the Market Forecast for awarded Services and their associated milestones
Scheduling and tracking of timelines for all awarded Services compared to forecasts, for the awarded Services
Risk identification and mitigation of any issues impacting any awarded Services
Coordinating communication and escalations as necessary, both internally and externally
Coordinating any governance-related activities
Ensuring that identified systems, tools, databases, and the data repository are updated accurately and timely, in accordance with the Contract Documents

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree or equivalent work experience (PMP certification desired)
4-10+ years of previous Project or Program management experience or other management position (3+ years of telecom industry experience preferred)
Good analytical skills to compile information into useful reports and presentations
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving ability
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
Excellent knowledge and proficiency with MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software is a strong advantage
