The Department of Pediatrics within Wake Forest University School of Medicine/Brenner Children's Hospital is seeking an energetic Clinical Geneticist to join an established medical genetics program, which emphasizes service excellence, research, and education. This is a full time faculty opportunity with primary roles in clinical service and education.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Medical Genetics of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine is the oldest Medical Genetics group in the nation (www.wakehealth.edu/Medical-Genetics/). The section includes two clinical medical geneticists, a cytogeneticist, a molecular geneticist, and four genetic counselors that provide clinical services to central and western North Carolina. The Medical Genetic Laboratories provide state-of-the-art services in cytogenetics, molecular cytogenetics, molecular genetics, and maternal serum screening. There are excellent opportunities for interaction and research in multiple disciplines including Pediatrics, Pathology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Comprehensive Cancer Center, Institute of Regenerative Medicine, and the Center for Human Genomics and Personalized Medicine.

- ABMGG Certified or eligible in Clinical Genetics
