Job Description:
The University, a thriving and expanding Midwestern academic practice affiliated with a Level 1 trauma center, is seeking faculty surgeons specializing in Total Joints - Hip & Knee.
Job Details:
Our reputation for patient care, education, and research have made us one of the fastest-growing practices in the Midwest anchored by the freestanding orthopaedic center. The recently expanded center is the largest freestanding and most comprehensive orthopaedic center in the region. Our practice offers the following benefits to enhance your career:
Expected schedule: 2 Clinic days, 2 OR days, 1 Admin/Protected day
Call schedule: Approximately 2 days per month; no pediatric call
1 in 2 clinic patients will be surgical
State of the art facility offers pharmacy, bracing, radiology, labs, research offices, 70 exam rooms, and 42 inpatient beds
Department currently has 40 physician faculty members in all orthopaedic service lines
o Total Joint Service line has 5 physician faculty
2 Adult Recon
2 Hip
1 Knee

About the Role:

This full-time position offers a lucrative financial package, including a base salary of approximately $550,000 per year, benefits, and opportunities for advancement within the department. As a valued member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, academic achievement, and community engagement.

You will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload of joint reconstruction surgeries, collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative treatments, and contributing to the department's educational programs. Your expertise will enable us to continue delivering world-class care to our patients while fostering a culture of teamwork and camaraderie among staff members.

Your success will be measured by your ability to achieve outstanding patient outcomes, publish research in top-tier journals, and demonstrate commitment to teaching and mentoring residents and fellows.

Qualifications:
BC/BE in Orthopaedic Surgery. Required: residency in orthopaedic surgery and fellowship in total joints. For the purposes of this application, board-certified/board eligible are considered experienced.
Preferred Candidates have experience or interests in:
Direct Anterior Hips
Uncompartmentalized Knee Arthroplasty
