Position Summary

The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Oishei Children's Hospital of Buffalo (OCH) is actively recruiting for a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to serve in an urban, community-based, general pediatric ambulatory practice. The department is particularly interested in candidates who have strong interests in community partnerships, comprehensive primary care, and advocacy for underserved populations. The clinics are New York State certified Patient-Centered Medical Homes and are core ambulatory training sites for pediatric residents and medical students. Ambulatory call duties and weekend newborn nursery coverage are shared equally with other faculty members of the division. The successful candidate will have an appointment with the University commensurate to rank. The position offers excellent benefits.

UBMD Pediatrics is one of 18 practice plans within UBMD Physicians' Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York. We provide premier health care to infants, children, adolescents and adults. In addition to primary care pediatrics, we have 17 pediatric subspecialties. Our physicians make up the academic teaching faculty within the Department of Pediatrics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo and at Oishei Children's Hospital.
