Job Description

As an Account Executive, Mid-Market at Freshworks, youll play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint within our Mid-Market segment. Your focus will be on delivering EX solutions, driving volume-based business growth, and managing moderate-sized deal cycles. You'll work in a consultative, adaptable, and strategic manner to engage small buying teams and close deals in medium-length sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consultative Sales Execution: Build and execute sales strategies tailored to mid-market customers, delivering value-driven solutions for ITSM, employee onboarding, and engagement needs.
  • Pipeline Development: Identify, qualify, and engage prospects, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities through discovery and virtual sales efforts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Navigate small buying teams to build trust and influence decision-making processes.
  • Deal Management: Manage moderate-sized deals with a focus on negotiating terms, securing commitments, and closing agreements.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Success teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Qualifications

Experience: 35 years of success in SaaS or mid-market sales, with a proven ability to drive results in a hybrid account management and AE role.

Skills: Strong discovery, negotiation, and virtual selling capabilities.

Expertise:

  • Solid knowledge of SaaS, with specific experience in employee experience (EX) platforms, including onboarding and engagement tools.
  • Familiarity with mid-level ITSM processes and solutions.

Traits: Consultative, adaptable, and strategic in your approach to customer engagements.

Mindset: A customer-first approach, coupled with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
