Milrose Consultants is hiring an Account Executive to be part of our growing Sales Department.

Milrose Consultants is a national leader in building code consulting and municipal permitting. Since 1988, we have helped clients navigate the complex system of municipal agencies, ensuring project success across various sectors, including industrial, healthcare, residential, and commercial. Our services include Code Consulting, Zoning Analysis, Special Inspections, and Permit Expediting for projects ranging from new buildings to interior alterations.

Position Summary

As an Account Executive, you will serve as a hands-on business partner and trusted advisor in creating and growing client relationships. You will increase revenue by educating prospects and existing clients on Milrose's growing suite of service offerings while providing tailored solutions. This role combines account development, pipeline management, and revenue generation, with significant opportunities for professional growth. You will be located in our Permit Advisors Beverly Hills office and collaborate with colleagues across the Milrose Family of Companies.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Account Management:
    • Formulate and execute a strategic sales plan to generate new revenue:
      • Solicit business from new clients, strategic partners, and unassigned Milrose clients.
      • Engage with industry players: tenants, owners, general contractors, project managers, architects, engineers, etc.
      • Schedule meetings and deliver compelling presentations to secure new business opportunities.
      • Identify, follow up on, and close all leads to develop a viable sales pipeline.
    • Build long-term relationships:
      • Participate in industry networking groups and host client events.
      • Leverage Milrose's partner relationships to access end-client accounts.
      • Collaborate with colleagues to devise strategic approaches to retain and grow existing clients.
    • Lead projects as a full life-cycle code & permitting consultant:
      • Oversee the commercial sales process from inception to contract award.
  • Business Analytics & Forecasting:
    • Analyze data to drive actionable business decisions.
    • Track market trends, monitor performance, and forecast sales revenue in your territory.
    • Identify emerging markets with high potential for growth.
  • Regional Marketing Strategies:
    • Partner with the Corporate Marketing Department to:
      • Develop region-specific promotional materials.
      • Maintain a professional presence on social media and produce relevant content for newsletters and campaigns.
      • Deliver educational presentations (accredited and non-accredited) to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience (experience with building departments, construction, or related industries preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and online research tools.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Milrose Consultants, LLC is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Salary ranges are determined through alignment with market data and individual qualifications.
  • Annual Base Salary: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD, plus commission.

Work Environment and Travel

This is a full-time position, operating in a professional office environment with standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Travel expectations: Approximately 20-30% travel to client sites or municipal agencies, depending on project needs. This may include attending client meetings or events to strengthen relationships.
