FLA seeks other voluntary benefits professionals for key roles to support its growth strategy. As a member of the Worksite Business team, you will have a visible role and direct contribution as FLA takes LBT to the next level.

Reporting to SVP of Worksite Revenue Operations & Strategy, the Account Manager, Worksite Business, will be responsible for timely and successful delivery of post-enrollment solutions to improve the experience for partners and their employer clients. The Account Manager will oversee case setup and own the service, support and stewardship of LBT partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the liaison between external partners, their distribution teams and FLA
  • Collaborate with FLA Implementation Management to facilitate transition of on-going LBT billing, reporting or other employer group / insured support
  • Coordinate annual LBT re-enrollment activities and FLA involvement as needed
  • Contribute to retail broker account reviews with employer groups, as requested
  • Oversee resolution of partner, retail broker, enrollment firm or employer group concerns, including risk identification, improvement opportunities or action plans
  • Support senior leadership with evaluating account health and strategic planning
  • Build trust-based, consultative relationships with distribution partners and home office staff
  • Attend distribution partner, retail broker and/or employer group meetings & presentations as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalency preferred; relevant work experience may substitute
  • 3+ years benefits / insurance industry experience; worksite life with LTC insurance experience a plus
  • Fluency with benefits terminology, product or plan designs, case setup lifecycle & billing
  • Familiarity with enrollment platforms and technology (e.g., Selerix, Employee Navigator, bSwift, etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 30% as needed
Licenses + Certifications:

None; Life & Health licenses desirable, but not required
Skills:
  • Experience with voluntary benefits lifecycle & products, including terminology, enrollment methods, plan designs, implementation, billing & servicing activities; familiarity with voluntary life products a plus
  • Client-service mindset, including a desire to put the needs of partners above oneself
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, including ability to tailor messaging for a varied audience (internal, external) or seniority
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple simultaneous enrollments, issue resolution or stewardship activities
  • Outstanding attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Capability to work hands-on and influence decision-making in collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership
