We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Account Manager with expertise in API 16A to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, negotiating contracts, and forecasting sales within the oil and gas sector, specifically focusing on API 16A and 6A products. This role requires a proactive approach to understanding client needs and delivering high-quality service to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the oil and gas industry, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and requirements.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients to finalize contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop and implement accurate sales forecasts based on market analysis, historical data, and client feedback to assist in strategic planning.
  • Technical Knowledge: Utilize in-depth knowledge of API 16A standards and best practices to advise clients on compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment and effective service delivery.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on account status, sales growth, and customer feedback to senior management.
  • Problem Solving: Address client issues and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive brand image.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities for business growth.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in account management, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
  • Proven experience with API 16A compliance and standards.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building lasting customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a technical sales role within the oil and gas industry.
  • Familiarity with other API standards and industry regulations.
