Position Overview

The Account Manager - Amazon will report to the Account Director, eCommerce & Specialty Channel and will primarily lead the strategic management of the partnership with Amazon to drive sales, provide optimal customer service and 4P execution. The role will be responsible for delivering an annual sales plan, monitoring all business needs, aligning customer specific plans with national brand plans and for establishing strong business relationships with various internal departments and key stakeholders at retailer.

This is a remote position, and your primary office location will be your home address. From time to time, you will be required to attend in person, certain key company events and functional team meetings in the Chicago office and with our third-party vendor in New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth for all Global Consumer Brands at retailer
  • Deliver financial budget and execute the planning of retail, gross and net sales plans
  • Deliver financial forecasting, performance tracking and commercial reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Evaluate performance to budget - initiate plans to appropriate corrective action when required
  • Partner cross-functionally with planners from both demand supply in securing planned receipts and inventory levels to ensure on-shelf availability
  • Analyze weekly sales performance and inventory levels to ensure at on-shelf availability
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of commercial and integrated activity plans to win; increasing share of market
  • Set, implements, and evaluates integrated activity and promotional plans
  • Manage trade investment budgets while working cross-functionally with finance, general P&L understanding, and management
  • Set assortment and distribution plans working closely with marketing and category management


A bit about you...
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required
  • 5+ years' prior Consumer Package Goods experience required; beauty experience preferred but not required.
  • Direct Selling/Sales experience and/or Amazon preferred but not required.
  • Outstanding analytical, excel skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain solid and strategic business partnerships internally and externally.
  • Capability to build, manage and continually adjust a financial forecast.
  • Confidence to influence and interact with all levels of management internally and with retail partner.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex matrix environment and to collaborate cross functionally.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills required
  • Proven track record for driving retail and net sales
  • Ability to problem solve, make decisions, and prioritize to successfully manage multiple projects
