Headquartered in New York, you'll be joining a global company and working across talented cross-functional teams to drive innovation and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

As our first US Account Manager at Vertice, you will set the bar for operational brilliance within our US Sales organisation by cultivating and implementing strategies to expand accounts efficaciously. Externally you will likely be working closely with C-suite stakeholders and internally you will report into our VP of Sales in the US. You'll be focusing on retention and upselling to our US customers so they achieve great value from our product.
  • Own, drive and manage the end-to-end existing customer relationship - ensuring customer retention, renewal and up-sell/cross sell of the entire Vertice portfolio.
  • Accurately maintain forecast of your territory and communicate any retention risk to internal resources in order to develop resolution strategies.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and delight through leveraging our product solutions to solve/support customer business priorities.
  • Prospect heavily within your install base of accounts and create net-new sales pipeline.
  • You will own the customer lifecycle, from onboarding through to renewal and beyond, working closely with Customer Success and wider Sales team.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years commercial experience.
  • 'Individual Contributor' mindset - you are happy to be hands-on and be the start of a new function at Vertice.
  • Ideally you will have ambition to expand this part of the business in future.
  • Experience working in a competitive category, where every renewal is a potential competition.
  • You have worked with a range of customers, particularly enterprise and mid-sized.
  • Demonstrable track record of repeatedly meeting and exceeding quota and net revenue retention goals.
  • You are a clear, confident and compelling communicator - in writing, in conversation and in front of customers.

Nice to haves:
  • You have experience in companies selling Sales tools or similar, particularly if you were not the market leader.
  • Experience working in a SaaS company or fast growing start-up.
  • You are resourceful, scrappy and creative - if a playbook doesn't exist yet, you go figure it out and build it.
  • Superb listening skills and the ability to dig deeper to uncover the customer's true objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct compelling presentations / QBRs to senior customer stakeholders.
