About this role/The opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our finance team and contribute to the continued success and growth of our organization.
How You'll Make an Impact/duties and responsibilities
- Lead the Accounts Receivable team (team of 3), overseeing the billing and collection processes.
- Generate and send accurate and timely customer invoices.
- Monitor and analyze customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer billing issues.
- Manage the credit and collections process, establishing credit limits and monitoring credit terms.
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging and cash flow forecasting.
- Implement best practices to minimize overdue accounts and reduce bad debt.
General Financial Management:
- Work closely with the finance leadership team to contribute to strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Participate in the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., [specific software]) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English is mandatory to support global business operations; French would be considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
