We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant 2 to manage key financial operations, including Foundation/Endowment Gift Funds and Donor Gift Funds. This role involves monitoring, reconciling, and reporting on over 100 financial accounts, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures, and supporting budget preparation and fiscal closing. You will also initiate and complete UCPATH funding entry transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to financial management.

Pay Range: $28.30 - $54.74 hourly

- Prepare detailed monthly financial reports
- Monitor, analyze, and reconcile financial accounts
- Process deposits and manage expenditure requests
- Forecast financial outcomes to avoid overdrafts
- Ensure compliance with university and institute policies
- Assist with audits and financial analyses
- Support budget preparation and fiscal year-end closing
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Communicate with staff and faculty regarding account status and recommendations
- Initiate, complete and monitor full cycle UCPATH fund transactions.
