SNI Companies is seeking a Controller with expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and investment management. This role will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide key insights to support strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in corporate finance, investment tracking, and financial analysis, with experience in regulated industries.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy of all financial statements.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities for profit enhancement, particularly within regulated industries.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP, SEC, and IRS regulations.
• Establish budgets, forecasts, and multi-year financial plans, analyzing variances and reporting results within deadlines.
• Manage investment accounting processes, including capital tracking, financial reconciliations, and portfolio oversight.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, cash flow, and investment returns, ensuring efficient capital management.
• Ensure compliance with financial processes, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on regulated industry standards.
• Develop and present key financial metrics (KPIs) to leadership, designing new ones as needed.
• Communicate financial insights effectively with finance, operations, and executive teams.
• Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring transparency and compliance.
• Assist in capital planning, investor reporting, and financial decision-making.
• Support the implementation of automated reporting tools and process improvements.
• Manage cash flow, cost accounting, and investment fund structures to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in accounting and financial management, with a focus on investment tracking, corporate finance, or asset management.
• 3+ years of experience managing a finance or accounting team.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling experience.
• Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance, particularly within regulated industries.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial insights to key stakeholders.
