Corporate Accounting & Controls Manager
The Accounting & Controls Manager is responsible for the oversight of treasury management as well as the accounting and financial reporting for our 401(k) plan, Foundation, Delaware companies and four of our operating divisions: Corporate Support Center, Distribution Center, Cookie Factory and SmileyCookie.com. This position also plays a significant role in designing key initiatives to enhance and streamline the enterprise internal control.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Treasury Management (40% of time):
Oversee the treasury management function which includes daily treasury management functions, weekly cash forecasting process, period end bank reconciliations for over 150 bank accounts, bank service fees analysis, and commercial bank relationship development and maintenance.
Identify and implement internal controls over the treasury function along with compliance monitoring and reporting procedures.
Identify and implement new processes and technology to improve/streamline the treasury process.
Participate in external year end audit by preparing information requested by auditors related to Cash Management.
Accounting (40 % of time):
Oversee the daily accounting functions of the identified four operating divisions.
Maintain general ledger balances by reconciling journal entries and reviewing balance sheets with staff.
Prepare period financial statements and financial analysis for four operating divisions.
Review and provide feedback and analysis on forecasts and budgets for four operating divisions.
Participate in external year end audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; preparing information requested by auditors.
Responsible for quarterly accounting and financial reporting for Delaware companies.
Responsible for Lease Accounting under ASC 842.
Responsible for preparing and analyzing the financial statements, footnote disclosures, and coordinating annual audit with external auditors for the 401(k) plan.
Responsible for the accounting and monthly financial reporting for Eat 'n Park Hospitality Foundation, Inc. ("the Foundation").
ENPHG Programs (20% of time):
Oversee the Purchasing card program for vendor payments. Identify and implement internal controls over card usage and spend along with compliance monitoring and reporting procedures.
Assist in the design of key initiatives to enhance and streamline the enterprise internal control structure.
Assist in the design of controls and management of corporate spending.
Assist Operations and Executives with ad hoc reports, projects, etc.

QUALIFICATONS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- 5 years of experience in Accounting.
- Must have advanced Microsoft Office capability including Excel, Word, PowerPoint to streamline data and inputs critical to the accounting and controls process.
- Treasury Management experience desirable, but not required.
- Proven ability to use enterprise reporting software, cloud based budgeted or financial close management software.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization and across different cultures.
- Must be flexible to respond to unexpected changes in workload, emergencies, and priority situations.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to details and ability to work and thrive in a high-volume, fast paced, and evolving environment.
- Ability to independently identify and pursue opportunities for improvement in efficiency and quality.
