Description
ASC Engineering Solutions is looking for a Accounting Manager, Supply Chain at our Oak Brook, Illinois headquarter office that is self-motivated to work directly with leaders in the business to ensure all aspects of Financial Statements comply with US GAAP. This individual should be creative, dedicated and able to work with a collaborative culture. He or she must have the ability to prioritize, troubleshoot, and work closely with other team members to identify and resolve issues, improve processes, and share data.
How You Will Help
Manages the overall accounting for ASC's distribution centers and manufacturing facilities with an emphasis in the areas of inventory, valuation, standard cost variance accounting, and freight
Prepare, review and approve journal entries and support documentation for the month-end close process for assigned areas
Prepare, review and approve account reconciliations per company policy and US GAAP. Work collaboratively with other functions to ensure reconciling items are quickly resolved
Prepare, analyze and communicate monthly financial results for the distribution centers, including COGS and SG&A analysis. Present results to management in monthly operations meetings as well as other ad-hoc reports
Prepare distribution centers annual budgets and forecasts, work with the operations and finance teams to align strategies
Oversee accounting responsibilities for cycle count and physical inventory procedures, analyze results, identify best practices
Lead the Supply Chain Accounting team with various improvement tasks to drive efficiencies across the organization and supply chain accounting functions
Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA preferred
5-7 years experience and supervisory experience a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent with Microsoft applications
Experience with data analysis tools preferred (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx)
Ability to multitask and work effectively with others in a team environment
Self-starter with excellent, communication, problem solving and analytical skills
Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD annually*.
