How You'll Perform the Role

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
  • Broad-based financial role with a wide range of responsibilities, including support of the site facilities, monthly accounting and reporting, financial analysis, technical accounting issues and internal controls
  • Coordinate and assist with month end close, which includes journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis and trend research and helping deal with any other topics that may arise
  • Assist with monthly cash flow forecasting process and annual balance sheet and SG&A expense annual operating plans
  • Participate in physical inventories and monthly cycle counting process. Assist in review of results and ensuring timely completion
  • Maintain local ERP ledgers and reconcile to Hyperion financial statements
  • Perform and review monthly account reconciliations of general ledger accounts. Assist with preparation and submission on monthly and quarterly Corporate reporting
  • Support with continuous improvement in the areas of financial reporting processes/systems and future optimization initiatives
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external audit teams to ensure effective and accurate reporting for prompt decision-making
  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff
  • Ensure all accounting policies are followed and internal controls are in place and adhered to
  • Assist with special projects and analysis as needed working with the FP&A, Commercial and Operations teams, Corporate and others
  • Travel - 5%


What We Need From You

  • 6+ years experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
  • Results driven, analytical, self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to logically identify solutions or approaches to complex problems.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to successfully work to reach company goals in an environment in which a wide degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
