Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job duration: 40 Hours / Week, Permanent position, Full time
Job Duties: Responsible to manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting
department. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. Perform month end
and quarter end closures of books of accounts. Conduct Audit, Review and Compilation of
Financial statements of the company. Ensure that statements and records follow various laws and
regulations. Will examine financial statements to ensure accuracy, compute taxes owed and
assist in making prompt financial decisions. Participate in improving efficiency by making
relevant recommendations to our business. Recommend best-practices to management to help
enhance business functionalities and suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues and
improve profits while adhering to all regulations. Assist management in taking decisions which
in turn helps in business growth and development. Responsible to meet financial accounting
objectives and monitor fiscal files and records of the financial activities of the business. Develop
and track metrics and success criteria for all products and initiatives to ensure a low-risk
exposure quarter-on-quarter and meet corresponding targets and financial objectives. Work on
different stages of the financial management Accounting System by defining Cost Proposals,
managing & development of reports and FFATA data. Build and improve frameworks for
budgeting, audit, accounting, identity, underwriting and risk-based pricing decisions. Act as an
Audit and Compliance advisor to help management across three distinct branches of the business
including: Developing Hiring and Recruiting strategy for immediate and long-term fulfillment of
Client, performance management, compensation, employee engagement, integration, client
relations and company policies and procedures. Collaborate with Business Unit Leaders for
strategic planning and execution towards Account/BU level growth and development. Ensure
adequate internal controls are in place and policies or guidelines are adhered to. Work with
business Line and Development manager to develop new or revisions to existing policies and
procedures as new client services are offered, new lines of business are initiated, or new
regulatory requirements are published; and the beneficiary will provide executive-grade accurate
financial data/information focused on driving business decisions and apply a continuous
improvement mindset with the ability to embrace outside/in thinking that advances the
organization's finance agenda.
