About the Role

We are seeking a super detailed, efficient, and process-driven Accounting Manager to support Turn/River's internal finance team. We're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can collaborate effectively across teams. The ideal candidate for this role has honed their expertise in the accounting field, bringing a thorough and meticulous approach to maintaining Turn/River's processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the data integrity of our internal accounting systems
  • Manage accounts receivable tasks such as invoicing, income and billable receipts
  • Manage accounts payable, including contract review and renewal management
  • Manage employee expenses and travel credits
  • Manage asset tracking inventory system
  • Serve as the employee liaison for the finance team to field all questions regarding expenses
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting information
  • Prepare & develop monthly and quarterly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
  • Update and maintain internal company knowledge base with information for employees pertaining to accounting functions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements
  • Prepare and manage Turn/River's SF business tax filings

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working in the bookkeeping or accounting field
  • 3+ years experience working with QuickBooks (PC Desktop versions preferred)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with job costing in QuickBooks
  • Experience keeping accrual books
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Eagerness to assist employees with various questions and requests
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment while able to work independently

Location
  • San Francisco, hybrid work model

Compensation
  • The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000 - 170,000 taking into account numerous variable factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational requirements.
