*Salary Range: $75000 - $95000 / year, depending on experience.
The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager will oversee all aspects of the Accounts Payable functions for 26 communities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and financial reporting. Must have experience working across a multi-state portfolio and be familiar with Department of Labor guidelines. The Accounts Payable Manager will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity while supporting the organization's operational needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a process improvement mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

The Accounts Payable Manager will:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
- Supervise and mentor AP staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and development.
- Review and approve invoices, expense reports, and payment runs in compliance with internal policies and controls.
- Oversee month-end and year-end AP close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Maintain vendor relationships, including onboarding, inquiries, dispute resolution, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, and Accounting teams to optimize payment strategies and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation; assist with AP system upgrades or transitions.
- Prepare AP-related reports, metrics, and analyses for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of AP best practices and internal control frameworks.
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft GP & UKG preferred) and invoice automation tools (DSSI & Emburse preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
