We are accepting applications for the position of Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP).
All applicants must follow one of the following processes:
Process for Out of District Applicants: Out of district applicants are required to complete an on-line application. All requested documents as indicated in the posting must be uploaded to the application.
Process for District Employees: District employees must complete an on-line administrative application. Employees must login to SeachSoft (PowerSchool) and make sure their application type reflects "administrative." Once an employee's application correctly reflects "administrative, " they are able to apply for a specific position. If an employee does not already have an application in SearchSoft, they will need to create a new user ID and password to apply for the specific position.
Applicants for this position must have the following qualifications and experience:
Valid license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP)
Knowledge of procedures for assessing achievement and intellectual, emotional and behavioral functioning for educational purposes
Knowledge of prevention and intervention strategies, including behavior management interventions
Knowledge of psycho-social development
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
