This Administrative Program Manager 4 position is for a vacancy located in our Fiscal department within Executive Administration. Please see the Examples of Work below for additional information for this position.

This position may be filled as a Probational Appointment. Applicants may be asked to serve a probationary period of not less than 6 months and not more than 24 months.

Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant's level of experience. Below is a list of the pay range for the position:
  • Administrative Program Manager 4: $27.08/hour minimum - $53.14/hour maximum

Minimum Qualifications

Seven years of experience in administrative services; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in administrative services; OR

A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in administrative services; OR

An advanced degree plus three years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Administrative Program Manager 4 positions differ from those allocated to the job of Administrative Program Director 4 by the absence of directing administrative programs and support functions and by the supervision exercised.
Examples of Work

This position is critical to the overall management and operations of FPHSA. This advanced-level management position directly reports to and receives direction from the Chief Operating Officer and will supervise the fiscal staff. This position exercises independent supervision over a wide range of administrative functions including procurement and accounts payable, contracts/grants, travel, and budget development, monitoring, and reporting. Incumbent must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and be able to operate between several computer systems and software programs directly related to the maintenance of the agencies budget through the LaGov system, processing travel expenses through the LaGov system, and contract management and procurement and purchasing through the LaGov/SRM system.
