SALARY: The salary range for this position is $76,423.34 to $119,103.64 for Schedule A, and $76,423.34 to $113,148.46 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

The New Jersey Judiciary Office of Probation Services, Child Support Enforcement Unit, is looking for someone with excellent customer service, communication, organizational awareness, time management, and technical skills to join the Intergovernmental Central Registry (ICR) team. Pursuant to the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA), the ICR is the point of contact for intergovernmental requests from other states and countries to establish paternity, child/spousal support, modifications, and enforcement of support orders. The team coordinates activities between local and out-of-state child support staff, intervenes when necessary to reconcile case information, and helps to resolve intergovernmental disputes. Under the direction of the ICR Administrative Supervisor, the selected candidate will serve as the subject matter expert in assisting probation staff throughout the state with complex intergovernmental case processing inquiries. This individual will also be tasked with supporting all crucial functions of the ICR and developing trainings.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and five years of professional experience in program development, program coordination, program analysis, program administration and/or administrative research.
Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. An associate's degree and two years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. A master's degree may be substituted for one year of experience. A law degree may be substituted for two years of experience.
Education Note: Degrees conferred outside of the United States must be evaluated by a recognized evaluation service. (See )

Driver's License: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.

Example of Duties
- Serve as statewide Electronic Document Exchange (EDE) liaison. Assist the supervisor in monitoring workflow and ensuring that intergovernmental requests are processed within federally mandated time frames.
- Review reports to review cases that are aging due to a filing Agency's failure to provide additional documents that were previously requested.
- Investigate complaints; coordinate and facilitate various programs and/or special projects; coordinating work between ICR teams; as well as planning the implementation of projects or programs.
- Function as the lead liaison for both AOC and Vicinage staff (Probation Division Managers, Assistant Division Managers, Supervisors, Probation Officers, and Investigators) regarding complex intergovernmental case processing, portal applications, and resolving international payment processing issues.
- Mentor, guide, and coach ICR staff on complex child support matters and promote the use of innovative solutions/ideas to resolve complex intergovernmental matters.
- Function as the lead worker in the Correspondence Unit within the ICR and assist the ICR Supervisor in ensuring timely responses to written child support related inquiries from Division of Family Development (DFD), intergovernmental child support agencies, Hague pleading reciprocating countries, central office staff, vicinage staff, litigants, and attorneys, as well as from the offices of the Administrative Director of the Courts, the Governor, and the Legislature; credit bureau inquiries and contests; and PSOC referrals to DFD.
- Assist in the development of training curricula for UIFSA staff in the central office and statewide, participate in individualized or group trainings, and present or speak at conferences and training events.
- Employee must use analytical skills to ensure that Federal regulations under UIFSA, federal and state laws, New Jersey Court rules, and agency policy standards have been applied correctly.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, divisions and out of state agencies in resolving disagreements on both pre-dispositional and post-dispositional issues that arise between internal and external colleagues.
- Participate in other committees, meetings, multi-agency working groups and projects as required. Examples include the UIFSA P & P committee, training committee, and vicinage partnership meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
