Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation systems for manufacturing processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analysis for automation projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new automated equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems for enhanced performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production teams and staff.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automated systems, including SOPs, training materials, and technical specifications.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in manufacturing automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on automation.
- Proficiency in modern automation technologies such as PLCs, robotics, and machine vision systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience working for Modern, High Volume, Low Error Manufacturing Company, preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- CAD proficiency
