AFC Urgent Care is seeking board-certified physician assistants or nurse practitioners to join our new North and South Austin clinics.
Qualified Candidates
- Board certified mid-level providers with unrestricted Texas medical and DEA license
- Comfortable seeing ages six months and up
- Skilled in performing minor office procedures like suturing, I&Ds, etc. and confident in treating most acute illnesses and injuries in pediatric and adult patients
- Ability to perform preliminary readings on x-rays and proficient in interpreting EKGs
Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an Accredited University
- Licensed as Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) OR Physician Assistant (PA)
- Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner OR Board-Certified Physician's Assistant
- Current unrestricted Texas State and DEA License
- 1+ years' experience in Urgent Care
- 1+ years' experience working independently as Solo Provider
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified required and Advance Life Support (ACLS) certified preferred.
- DOT Certification required
