We are seeking a Data Engineer who will be a part of a team that's building data pipelines for new analytical and machine learning tools and frameworks. We work on creating data products and as part of the Data Analytics and Platform Services team to support a variety of users including data scientists, internal big data platform team, and business partners. Our work spans across a broad set of domains including Remarketing, Aftersales, Customer Assistance Center, and Marketing. We are a diverse team working collaboratively towards our common goals of solving real customer and business problems using data

Responsibilities

The tasks include, but are not limited to
Build & Manage Data Pipelines: Data pipelines are a series of stages through which data flows from source through datalake, datawarehouses and datamarts. These have to be created, maintained and optimized as workloads move from development to production including data from (1st, 2nd and 3rd party data)
Build and maintain the ETL /ELT pipelines to improve developer productivity, agility and code quality throughout the lifecycle of data
Develop out of the box API's to enable seamless access of Data while adhereing to governance, Quality and coding best practices of Data Engineering
Qualifikationen Qualifications

Education: University degree or above in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Minimum 5+ years of hands on cloud experience - preferably Azure
3+ years of experience in DevOps with hands on skills on Azure Cloud (HDI, Blob, Synapse, SQL DataWarehouse, Azure Functions, Log Analytics etc)
Strong experience with popular database programming like Python, Scala, SQL etc
Basic experience working with popular data discovery, analytics and BI software tools like [Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI and others] for semantic-layer-based data discoveryExperienced with monitoring and logging features within Microsoft Azure
Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
Hands On experience working with Databricks
Understanding of Medallion Architecture

Must be able to work flexible hours/work schedule
Travel domestically and internationally as needed
