Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development spearhead our business growth initiatives in Texas. This senior-level executive will play a critical role in expanding our footprint, building strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience navigating the Texas State procurement cycle, a proven ability to shape complex solution deals, and a track record of building a robust multi-million-dollar pipeline.

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $190,000.00 to $205,000.00.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 08 Individual contributorin a Business Development position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts across Texas, with a focus on expanding Voyatek's presence in key state agencies, including Health and Human Services, the Comptroller's Office, and the Department of Public Safety.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to identify, qualify, and capture large, complex solution opportunities.
- Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the Texas State government.
- Drive the end-to-end business development lifecycle, including pipeline development, opportunity shaping, proposal strategies, and deal closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align client needs with Voyatek's capabilities and deliver tailored solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging industry expertise to position Voyatek as a preferred partner.
- Monitor market trends, competitive intelligence, and policy changes to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field of study
- 15+ years of experience in business development, account management, or sales leadership, with a focus on large-scale solution sales.
- Extensive knowledge of the Texas State procurement cycle and demonstrated success in securing contracts with state agencies.
- Established relationships with key stakeholders at Health and Human Services, the Comptroller's Office, and the Department of Public Safety.
- Proven ability to shape and capture large, complex solution deals that drive significant revenue growth.
- A track record of building and managing a multi-million-dollar sales pipeline.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence decision-making.
- Residency in Austin, Texas metro area required.
