POSITION DESCRIPTION
The main duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide crucial technical assistance and policy advise to leadership.
  • Provide program assistance to the Assistant Deputy Administrator, Associate Assistant Deputy Administrator, and Senior Office Directors on all incoming and outgoing program actions.
  • Assist in the development of NA-23 policy guidelines and initiatives.
  • Review, assess, and appropriately distribute these requests to the NA-23 program offices.
  • Assist in the creation and updating of program-related documents, maintaining a comprehensive and organized repository of essential information.
  • Other duties as assigned


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Business, or Foreign Policy field.


IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
  • 3-7 years of previous experience in a similar field.
  • Current DOE Q Clearance.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
  • Proficient in policy analysis and program/technical assistance.
  • Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening,
  • Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values,


LOCATION
Work location is in the downtown Washington, DC office. 100% on-site

About the team:
Day-to-Day Operations: Support the smooth functioning of the NA-23 Headquarters office, ensuring that all tasks and initiatives are efficiently managed. Work location is in the downtown Washington, DC office, typically 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
