DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As the Agency Director of Strategic Operations, your focus will be to support statewide juvenile justice improvement initiatives by identifying and proposing solutions to barriers affecting the implementation of evidence-based practices and quality improvement efforts. This position will manage the implementation and sustainability of evidence-based practices and administer best practice guidelines to improve components of Balanced and Restorative Justice and the Juvenile Justice System Enhancement Strategy for Pennsylvania's Juvenile Justice System. You will be responsible for tracking progress and workstreams to ensure alignment with JCJC's mission and objectives, enhancing service delivery for Pennsylvania's juvenile justice system.
You will have the opportunity to foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (e.g., county courts, city and county officials, law enforcement, and service providers), ensuring that all parties are aligned with the strategic goals, objectives, and expectations outlined by the JCJC for juvenile justice system improvements.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time Permanent Wage position.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, telework schedule to be established. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year as an Administrative Officer 2; or
  • Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.


Additional Requirement:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
