Description:

We're seeking a Mass Tort Agency Manager to build and maintain relationships with State Medicaid Agencies, managed care partners, and private or other government lien representatives. This role will oversee the operations of related programs, protocols, and data submissions tied to these partners, ensuring alignment with Zipliens' mass tort portfolio. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and experienced in navigating external agency coordination in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Protocol and Program Development: Collaborate with Mass Tort's VP/GC on resolution strategy and protocol formation based on project requirements and client directives.
  • Project Planning: Coordinate project plans with assigned project managers regarding milestones, deliverables and timeframes as it relates to health plan agencies. Assisting with client communication when appropriate.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track progress of health plan agency resolutions to ensure:
    • Program/protocol requirements are being met
    • Non-program/protocol resolutions are meeting the company's internal service level standards
    • Any delays or anticipated obstacles are identified and appropriately escalated
  • Health Plan Agency Profile Creation and Ownership: Create and maintain a master directory of health plan agency profiles, identifying key contacts at each agency along with essential data points and operational details for each relationship.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for health plan agencies and maintain regular communications to ensure resolutions are conducted timely and in accordance with any agreements.
  • Reporting Coordination: Assist other Mass Tort team members with the creation, production, and dissemination of reports for clients and health plan agencies.
  • Tech Coordination: Participate in and contribute to regular meetings with the tech/development team related to the ongoing build-out of the company's portal. Collaborate with the tech/dev team on tool implementation and issue identification/prioritization as they arise throughout mass tort projects.
  • Project Management: Provide flexibility to assist or serve as the project manager on smaller, less intensive mass tort projects, as needed and subject to bandwidth availability.
Qualifications:
  • Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to engage internal teams and external agency partners.
  • Proven track record of managing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort navigating ambiguity with minimal oversight.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
  • Experience working with technical data and resolving data-related issues with internal teams.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator across legal, operations, and technical teams.
  • Team-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid, managed care, lien resolution, or mass tort processes.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel minimally (1-2 times per year) as required.

Pay Disclosure: The total base salary range for this role is $80,000 - 120,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.
