Leavitt Group Enterprises ("LGE") is seeking to hire a Charlotte, NC metro-based Vice President of Agency Operations. This is a corporate position charged to act on behalf of LGE, and to represent its ownership interest within its insurance agencies.
Leavitt Group is one of the largest privately held insurance brokerages in the nation with a mission to build, serve, and perpetuate independent insurance agencies as partners with local co-owners. With an extensive network of 90+ agencies and 250+ locations across 27 states, Leavitt Group offers a distinctive advantage with local ownership, delivering a personalized and consultative partnership approach.
A Vice President of Agency Operations will seek to operate by reason, discussion, and consensus building rather than by mandate. The LGE Agency operations team strives to:
1Develop and maintain a collegial relationship with agency co-owners, sales and service teams, and insurance industry representatives.
2Build insurance agencies which are fiscally sound, growing, worthy of respect, and a wonderful place to work.
3Effective implementation and utilization of
Leavitt Group's tools and resources.
4Perpetuation planning - preparation and final transition.
This would be a remote-based position collaborating with other Charlotte, NC metro agency operation team members serving the Upper-Midwest, East Coast, and Southeast regions. The position would report directly to LGE's Sr. Executive Vice President of Operations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor or Master's Degree - Accounting, Finance or MBA Preferred.
3-5+ Years of Business
Leadership Experience.
Insurance industry Experience is Beneficial but not Required.
Remote Based Work
Environment.
Recurring Business Travel.
Proven Relationship Skills and a Business Acumen.

Alignment & Promotion of Leavitt Group Governing Principles.
Represent LGE in 8-10 Agency
Partnering Relationships.
Manage Financial Performance via Budgets, Forecasts, and Correlation Meetings.
Strategic Planning.
Operational Planning.
Improve Leavitt Group's Agencies Utilization of Tools and Resources.
Liaison with HR Team on
Compliance Standards.
Assist M&A Team with Agency
Acquisition Integration.
Perpetuation Planning.
