Job Description:

Be an embedded Agile coach dedicated to a pilot Agile delivery team
Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance in planning and execution of project delivery
Partner with Project manager, Business product owner, Architects, and other team members, help them to understand their roles within an Agile approach and course correct when needed
Teach and guide teams on planning, scoping, collaboration and other key Agile practices
Some guidance on Agile technical / engineering practices
Help team decide which tools and methods to use at what time, partner with / support efforts to collect and document methods and patterns that are working successfully into an enterprise "playbook" of methods (playbook spans innovation, design, and process engineering methods as well as Agile - you would be concerned with Agile portions and how they intersect or interact with other methods)
Encourage observation and reflection by the team - the goal of pilots is to understand how Agile methods can integrate with existing organizational patterns - and inform where adaptation or transformation will be needed
Mentorship for project managers or other team members identified as potential future internal agile coaching talent
Measure success in terms of business value delivery and changes in key team performance indicators

Must have:

Strong experience (preferably 10+ years) as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master serving multiple teams simultaneously
Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, Value Stream and other Agile frameworks
Experience using agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Agile Manager, HP-ALM etc
Experience with co-located and distributed teams, in multiple time zones
Possess strong knowledge on Agile planning, metrics, estimation and measurement to track team's progress and continuous improvement
Agile/Scrum Master certification is required
Experience in DevOps & CI/CD implementation

Nice to have:

SAFe Agilist Certification and working knowledge is preferred
Coaching program and systems level teams
Working knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and process change/improvement
Insurance domain is preferred
