Purple Wave is actively seeking an experienced and results-driven Agile Delivery Manager to enhance Agile execution across our IT and Product Departments. This role ensures teams deliver efficiently by removing impediments, optimizing Agile workflows, and aligning team execution with business objectives. As a key leader within the organization, you will oversee Agile delivery practices, coordinate across teams, and drive continuous improvement in project execution.

The Agile Delivery Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that Agile teams deliver high-value outcomes efficiently and predictably. This position focuses on team coordination, Agile process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth software development delivery. Managing a team of Scrum Masters & working closely with development managers, product owners, and senior leadership, this role helps refine delivery processes, scale Agile best practices, and drive measurable improvements in efficiency and predictability.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Agile delivery execution, ensuring teams meet their commitments and continuously improve.
  • Identify and remove systemic impediments that slow down development and delivery.
  • Work across teams to align delivery roadmaps, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Establish and refine Agile processes to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement and monitor Agile metrics to measure performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements.
  • Facilitate coordination between development, QA, Platform, and product teams to streamline execution.
  • Work with product owners and development managers to refine backlog and improve throughput.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and leadership, ensuring delivery transparency and proactive risk management.
  • Coach teams on Agile best practices to enhance predictability, collaboration, and delivery speed.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and implementing actionable changes.
  • Promote Agile methodologies at scale, working with leadership to optimize processes across the IT department.
  • Advocate for Lean-Agile principles, ensuring teams deliver the right work at the right time with minimal waste.
  • Undertake additional assigned duties as requested.


Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow Scrum Masters, ensuring their effectiveness in guiding teams.
  • Partner with Technical & Product Management to drive technical excellence and Agile maturity.
  • Participates in the hiring and training of departmental managers and employees.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with your direct reports to provide support, give feedback, and address any concerns.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.


Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery management, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar roles.
  • Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks.
  • Proven experience leading Agile teams and improving delivery performance.
  • Strong facilitation skills for cross-team collaboration, planning, and execution tracking.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile metrics tracking.
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Preferably experience scaling Agile across multiple teams or departments.
  • Preferably agile certifications such as PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist (SA), CSM or Certified Agile Leader (CAL).
  • Preferably experience managing Agile projects, delivery roadmaps, and portfolio-level planning.
  • Spanish speaking bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Working Settings:
  • Full-time Salaried Exempt, not eligible for overtime.
  • Office hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, Central Time zone, additional hours may be required depending on priorities.
  • Flexibility in schedule and ability to work outside of standard business hours.
  • This position is remote work eligible within the United States. Please note: the first week of employment training is required to be in the Manhattan, KS headquarters.
  • Expected to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.


Compensation:
  • The salary varies based on experience and qualifications, but typically ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year.
  • Monthly Bonus Program - determined by the Company's monthly revenue result and are paid on a "percent to plan" payout formula. (90% = $300, 100% = $600, 110% = $900, 120% = $1,200).
  • Monthly phone stipend in accordance with the Company's cell phone policy, currently $120/month.
  • Health, Dental, and Vision starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
  • 401(k) plan with an employer match up to 4% starting the first day of employment.
  • Company-paid Life Insurance benefit of $25,000 with options to add more through employee contribution starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
  • Personal Time Off (PTO) annual amount of 120 hours which is prorated based on the number of days between the 60th day of employment and the end of the calendar year. May vary to comply with state requirements.
  • Eligible to participate in the Company Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) after 90 days of employment, with enrollment opportunities each May and November.
