THE POSITION
The Department of Aging is excited to welcome a dedicated and detail-oriented Aging Services Supervisor to join our team in supporting the operations and responsibilities of the Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Related Disorders (ADRD) Office. This position plays a vital role in providing professional and administrative support to the ADRD Advisory Committee and the director, ensuring that responsibilities remain in compliance as mandated by Act 111. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Aging Services Supervisor, you will work closely with the ADRD Office Director to ensure that the office and advisory committee operate efficiently and effectively in accordance with its mission, vision, and statutory responsibilities. This position is critical in assessing the effectiveness of dementia programs and services, supporting stakeholder engagement efforts, integrating ADRD goals into broader state health and aging priorities, and leading and supervising staff to ensure the successful implementation of our mission. Your contributions within this role will be essential in supporting the overall goals of the ADRD Office and enhancing its impact within the community.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Aging Services Specialist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of professional experience in a human services program conducting human services related research or providing social services to clients, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
