Overview
We are looking for an AI Solutions Architect who can work with Senior Leaders, Architects, Business Analysts, Data Scientists and Developers to create and implement holistic AI solutions that address complex business problems and opportunities.
The AI Architect role will work in our corporate division and requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, data analytics, cloud infrastructure and machine learning, along with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Ideally you're in the Chicagoland area and able to come into the office as business needs warrant, however for the right individual this position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and you can sit anywhere in the US.

How you'll make an impact
- Understanding the organization's business processes and identifying areas where AI technology can increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Creating an AI technology roadmap that shows the steps needed to reach the desired state, including suggestions for new technology solutions, upgrades, and changes to business workflows.
- Ensuring that AI solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient by comparing different options and choosing those that meet the organization's needs.
- Working with various stakeholders, including business leaders, architects, IT teams, vendors, and customers, to understand their needs and issues and create solutions that meet their expectations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Managing the execution of AI projects, providing technical knowledge, and supporting project managers to ensure projects are finished on time and within budget.
- Evaluate and select appropriate AI tools, frameworks and platform to support project goals.
- Finding opportunities to unify AI solutions that have the same functions across divisions and/or regions.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of AI systems to make recommendations for enhancements.
About You
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT organization spanning multiple enterprise systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and a proven track record of designing systems within Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python.
- Knowledge of AI model deployment and operationalization.
- Strong expertise in system design, integration, and architecture best practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture and API development.
- Experience with cloud technologies and application patterns and practices to integrate AI services and proprietary systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, strategic planning and evaluation, and financial/ROI analysis.
- Strong and deep technical expertise across applications, data, infrastructure, and integrations as well as strong domain knowledge on what is "best in class" digital experience for enterprise products.
- An inquisitive mind, endless curiosity, and passion for learning about technologies, industries, and new approaches to doing things.
- Exceptional decision-making skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity while driving positive change and achieving tangible results.
- Any certifications in AI, machine learning or cloud architecture are advantageous.
