Swingtech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Lead to join our team in Washington, DC. This key role is responsible for employing advanced AI/ML techniques to support intelligence missions and integrating cutting-edge algorithms to solve complex analytical problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Responsibilities & other details are listed below:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement AI and machine learning algorithms, including Multiple Information Model Synthesis Architecture (MIMOSA) prediction algorithms, to support government intelligence search and discovery missions.
- Utilize data science techniques to perform predictive analysis, social media and crowd-source data analytics, wargaming, and strategy development.
- Integrate or code algorithms within hardware, software, storage, and bandwidth constraints to optimize intelligence operations.
- Apply scientific techniques such as data mining, data engineering, and network science to correlate complex technical findings into comprehensive graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products.
- Recommend best practices for data management, ensuring that AI/ML solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with mission requirements.
- Conduct exploratory analysis using large volumes of data to derive quick intelligence insights, and prepare detailed products to document findings.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand mission requirements and tailor AI/ML solutions accordingly. Participate in technical meetings to gain insights and share knowledge.
ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Statistics, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or related fields, with a strong focus on intelligence operations.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) SCI clearance.
