As a "business developer," you'll leverage your significant consulting experience, technical expertise, leadership acumen, and extensive network of client relationships. We're seeking a seasoned professional who excels in selling and consulting for environmental projects, spanning permitting, reporting, and compliance matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive technical and project management support to clients throughout the execution of their projects.
- Exceed annual net revenue targets, aiming for half a million dollars with a profit margin of 20% or higher.
- Lead projects and foster key client relationships, overseeing staff management and development while identifying new business opportunities with the support of our business development team.
- Advocate for technical excellence and nurture employee growth within the office, collaborating with other Principals to drive our collective vision and direction.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental or Chemical); a Master's degree is advantageous.
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of environmental consulting experience.
- Maintain state license or professional certification, as appropriate.
- Demonstrate proficiency in state environmental programs/regulations; experience with refining, chemical manufacturing, and oil and gas programs is advantageous.
- Familiarity with project and program management software such as Microsoft Project and Excel or equivalent tools for budgeting, cost tracking, and scheduling.
- Showcase a clientele portfolio comprising Fortune 1000 companies, outside counsel, and developers, addressing environmental challenges that align with our core practice areas.
