role and responsabilities :
- Perform planned or unplanned structural tasks ;
- Conduct inspections, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal structures and components ;
- Document discrepancies and raise non-conformity reports in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as customer manuals as required ;
- Determine appropriate corrective measures needed to rectify discrepancies ;
- Perform a wide range of aircraft structural activities ;
- Carry out modification activities ;
- Document maintenance measures in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as customer manuals, as needed ;
- Fill out various forms, files, and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as customer manuals, as needed ;
- Estimate the time required to complete non-conformity reports and coordinate with various supervisors to ensure that job requirements for all positions have been considered ;
- Identify and make purchase requests ;
- Work closely with various supervisors to ensure work is completed within scheduled times ;
- Route unusable, expired, or rejected parts pending disposal to quarantine ;
- Ensure that all replacement parts are inspected and certified properly before installation ;
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with quality standards, company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements (TC, FAA, etc.) ;
- Report any quality issues to the production service manager and the quality department ;
- Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor ;
Requirements :
- Work safely ;
- Use applicable and latest standards ;
- Use appropriate and calibrated tools (if applicable) ;
- Complete and succeed in training related to the position ;
- Update and communicate to the human resources department his skills, work experiences, and professional qualifications ;
- Report any incidents, accidents, or potential hazards via SGS ;
- Apply and follow policies and procedures related to the position ;
