Help Duties * You will ensure that Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) meets technical specifications and requirements. * You will evaluate procedures, tooling, and read and interpret engineering, manufacturing drawings, and technical publications. * You will gather, correlate, and analyze facts, complex problems, and issues and present a recommended solution to the supervisor. Reports to the supervisor on status and progress of work and causes of work delays. * You will prepare sketches and serve on engineering integrated product teams engaged in the design, prototyping and manufacture of new or replacement parts. Help Requirements Conditions of Employment * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. Experience in the design and operation of test equipment to ensure that Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) meets technical specifications and requirements. May serve as a working leader for major shipyard or pier-side projects. Must have knowledge and experience embracing the Quality Management System (QMS) with an ability to evaluate procedures, tooling, and read and interpret engineering, manufacturing drawings, and technical publications. Must be resourceful and possess the ability to gather, correlate, and analyze facts, complex problems, and issues and present a recommended solution to the supervisor.
