We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to The Office of the Chief of Public Affairs. (OCPA) is responsible for fulfilling the DOD'S obligation to keep the American people and the DOD informed and helps to establish the conditions that lead to confidence in America's Army and its readiness to conduct operations in peacetime, conflict, and war. DOD Public Affairs is comprised of Soldiers and Officers adept at planning and executing a commander's communication strategy through corporate communication, media and stakeholder engagements, and community outreach activities directed toward external and internal publics with interest in the Department of Defense
Program Manager
Education: Master's degree in Business, Management, or related field.
Experience: 15 years of professional experience, including 5 years at a strategic level managing federal contracts. Prior experience managing Army or other Government Public Affairs contracts is highly desirable.

- Oversee all aspects of communication planning support services, ensuring compliance with PWS requirements.
- Manage and coordinate tasks, including audio, video, multimedia, and social media strategies to meet the Army's communication objectives.
- Ensure deliverables align with Army Public Affairs goals and provide strategic oversight for multimedia production, manpower reporting, and Section 508 compliance.
- Collaborate with the Technical Lead and government stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Directs communication planning and implementation strategies.
- Oversees manpower tracking and reporting processes to ensure compliance.
- Proven experience in program management, preferably in a federal government or government contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Knowledge of ISO certified processes and quality management systems.
- Deep understanding of federal regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Army Public Affairs or equivalent government communication programs, including experience developing strategic communication plans and managing large, multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven expertise in managing communication planning services, including audio, video, multimedia, and social media projects.
