Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:30 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Pending state licenses considered Certifications: Competency test required within 48 hours of submission Must-Have: Epic experience required Job Description: - Provide direct and individualized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.- Implement and monitor patient care plans and treatment procedures.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Perform diagnostic tests, interpret the results, and report findings to the appropriate medical staff.- Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions.- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, such as ventilators.- Assess and communicate changes in patient conditions or treatment responses.- Educate patients and their families on post-hospital care and discharge instructions.- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
